Soft TOFU: Chilled Tofu Appetizer is the perfect appetizer for warm weather. Sliced soft tofu is served with a soy sauce and rice vinegar mix with garlic and green onion.January 8, 2020
- 14oz Regular tofu (1 pack ) drained and sliced into 1.5” chunks
- 1/2 tablespoons salt
- vegetable oil for frying
Step 1. Cover the tofu chunk with paper towel to drain some surface water out .
Step 2. Cut tofu into 1.5” chunks. Sprinkle 1/4 teaspoon salt onto one slide; flip over and sprinkle remaining 1/4 teaspoon on the other side.
Step 3. Gently place tofu chunk into hot oil. Fry tofu until golden color on all the side (3 to 4 minutes). Drain tofu on a plate lined with several paper towels. Spread little salt on the top.
